Understanding and Managing Worker's Compensation

We all try our best to prevent injuries at work – but when an employee is injured, active management of the claim is essential to resolving it successfully and controlling costs. Unchecked, the costs of medical treatment, lost time and poor employee relations can have a devastating impact on your bottom line. When claims are not effectively managed, everyone loses – the employer, the injured employee, and their families. The community suffers through lost productivity and increased insurance market costs.

If you’re new to worker’s compensation or just looking for ways to manage it better, this workshop will provide you the knowledge and resources to effectively manage claims, fight fraud and enhance your organization’s bottom line. Several case studies will be reviewed to allow participants to evaluate and discuss real-world issues related to claims management.
