Confined Space Entry
Confined space incidents aren't the most common, but they can be deadly, because the hazards tend to be misunderstood or underestimated. Many fatalities involve more than one victim: the worker and would-be rescuers.

This session will break down the terms of OSHA's Permit-Required Confined Space Entry rule (19 CFR 1910.146) into terms you can understand and put to use.

Workshop Objectives:
  • What is a confined space, and when is a permit required?
  • Identifying, evaluating and controlling confined space hazards.
  • Proper entry procedures and planning for rescue.
  • Proper protective equipment.
Length: 4 Hours
