Industrial hazards of combustible dust and bin safety are of paramount importance in your safety and fire prevention plan. Combustible dust explosion hazards exist in a variety of industries, including: agriculture, chemicals, food, feed , grain, fertilizer, tobacco, plastics, wood, paper, rubber, furniture, textiles, pesticides, dyes, coal, metal processing (e.g., aluminum, chromium, iron, magnesium, and zinc), recycling operations, and fossil fuel power generation (coal).
This comprehensive combustible dust and bin entrapment and rescue workshop will focus on prevention and hands on rescue training techniques with engulfment simulator, and rescue tube education.
The four-hour workshop will be offered twice on August 21st. The first session is from 8:00 a.m. noon. It will be repeated from 1:00 5:00 p.m.

- Industries that accumulate Combustible dust as part of their production.
- Industries with on-site rescue teams, rural volunteer fire and rescue teams.
- Specific contractors that perform scheduled work when entering and working inside of storage bins.
