Traffic incidents are the leading cause of unintentional injury ("accidental") deaths and one of the main causes of non-fatal injuries. They are also the single largest cause of work-related deaths. The cost of traffic crashes to our state is estimated at more than $300 billion each year. The most dangerous thing most of us do every day is get in our cars and drive.
