Bike Helmet Offer

Whether you ride your bike for recreation or transportation, you should wear a helmet. While helmets can't prevent crashes and falls, they do help reduce the risk of head injury and long term brain damage by up to 88%. In fact, if all bicyclists wore helmets, one death could be prevented every day and one head injury would be prevented every four minutes.

The South Dakota Safety Council is offering a special bike helmet offer. These Bike Gear helmets meet ASTM, ANSI and CPSC approved safety standards. Lightweight in design, these double micro-shell helmets are individually packaged in a zip-lock bag with a box. Extra sizing pads are included to ensure a proper fit, and the bag is preprinted with instructions for use and care. Helmets may be ordered for each family member, or for schools, businesses, groups and clubs. If you would like further information on organizing a group helmet program, call the South Dakota Safety Council at 605-361-2156 or 1-800-952-5539.
