Electrical II: Safe Work Practices and NFPA 70E-Virtual

Did you know that energized work is only permitted under certain circumstances? Did you know energized work is only permitted to be performed by a qualified person? Can you identify what must be done to set up the work before energized work is permitted? Did you know all qualified persons performing energized work must be trained a minimum of every three years, and unqualified persons must also receive training where energized work is being performed? This virtual course is for qualified persons (e.g. electricians, technicians, maintenance), as well as supervisors, managers, foremen and safety personnel, to understand the various safe electrical work practices associated with performing energized electrical-work. The goal of this course is to help organizations understand, implement and maintain a proper “Safe Electrical Work Practices” program, and will help develop an understanding of safety standards under OSHA and NFPA 70E, and will include a discussion of standard updates under NFPA 70E – 2024.
