Do you have part- or full-time safety and health responsibilities? If you do, this course is for you! Review basic occupational health and industrial hygiene principles and become familiar with the concepts of health hazard recognition, evaluation and control. This course is one of three required courses for the Workplace Safety Certificate, to be completed within a two-year period. The certificate is a designation from the South Dakota Safety Council and South Dakota Department of Labor for administrators of workplace safety and health programs.
Members: $125.00 + tax NOTE: Members may take all three courses in the Workplace Safety Certificate series for $300. Nonmembers: $199.00 + tax

This full-day course is designed for you if you are: newly responsible for company injury and illness prevention programs, a supervisor, or a member of your company's safety committee. It's also a great refresher session for you if you're an experienced safety manager.
