Join us for the South Dakota Safety Council Annual Meeting Breakfast where we will be highlighting 2019 accomplishments and most importantly, celebrating you - members leading the future of safety and helping support safer, healthier lives! Plus, after breakfast we're again offering two mini training sessions we hope you'll find of interest.

Training Sessions
9:15 - 10:15 a.m. | Staying Safe Within Your Environment
Presenter: Christopher Grant, Captain (retired), Rapid City Police Department
This training session is designed to provide information regarding personal safety in an uncertain world. It is not a self-defense course, but rather focuses on how to use your mind and senses to engage in situational awareness, identify potential indicators of danger, and react in an appropriate manner to avoid victimization. These techniques can be used effectively by every individual in their work environment, as well as in their home, vehicle and in public places.

10:15 - 11:15 a.m. | OSHA Update
Presenter: Sheila Stanley, OSHA Area Director, South Dakota
This session will address what OSHA is seeing with regard to injuries and fatalities in the state of South Dakota. Sheila will also address the types of citations being issued and the OSHA inspection process.

Cost to attend the annual meeting breakfast plus training sessions is $40 | OR $30 to attend training sessions ONLY.
