The National Safety Council First Aid, CPR/AED courses are designed to give you the lifesaving skill and confidence to respond to a medical emergency until professional help can arrive. Our classes are taught by subject matter experts and provide comprehensive training needed to meet the OSHA First Aid Standard 29 CFR 1910.151,
as well as the latest CPR and first aid guidelines. This training can
be customized to meet the specific needs of your industry.

First Aid/CPR/AED Classes are offered at the South Dakota Safety Council (view our training calendar). Learn the skills to maintain the life of a victim until emergency medical personnel arrive. Our NSC First Aid course provides up-to-date training in basic first aid, including bloodborne pathogens information and adult CPR techniques.
On-site training is also available at your location, or you can use our building. You name the time and place, and we will bring our instructor to you!
Hands-On Training at the South Dakota Safety Council (Full-day class; includes training materials and refreshments)
This course meets OSHA training recommendations. Upon course completion, you will receive the National Safety Council First Aid and CPR/AED 2 year certification.

Full-day class – First Aid & CPR/AED Class with 2 Year Certification
Half-day class – First Aid Class OR CPR/AED Class with 2 Year Certification
Two-hour class – Hands-only CPR and AED Use Class
- Member | Full-day class is $625 + tax for 1-8 participants. $80 + tax per person after the first 8; 15 people max.
- Member | Half-day class is $500 + tax for 1-8 participants. $80 + tax per person after the first 8; 15 people max.
- Member | Two-hour class is $350 + tax for 1-8 participants. $35 + tax per person after the first 8; 30 people max.
- Non-Member | Full-day class is $780 + tax for 1-8 participants. $90 + tax per person after the first 8; 15 people max.
- Non-Member | Half-day class is $625 + tax for 1-8 participants. $90 + tax per person after the first 8; 15 people max.
- Non-Member | Two-hour class is $450 + tax for 1-8 participants. $45 + tax per person after the first 8; 30 people max.
